CM snubs Mum top cop, junks 10 DCPs’ transfer

Police commissioner Parambir Singh transferred 10 DCPs last week but did not tell the CM. When a Shiv Sena politician brought the reshuffle to the notice of Thackeray, the CM first sought information from the home department and his own office to confirm that the proposal was never submitted to the CMO. He also learnt that home minister Anil Deshmukh had known all along about the transfers.
