Elderly man battling 2 hotels slashed at bus stop

A senior citizen, who had been raising his voice against activities of two restaurants in the neighbourhood, was on Wednesday morning slashed with a knife as he waited at a bus-stop in Malad. Barnabe Pereira (65) was rushed to a hospital, where he was given around a dozen stitches on his head and face. Malad police are scanning CCTV footage to zero in on the attacker.
