FIR against Mumbai inspector in Jalna girl 'rape' case

Even as political pressure builds up in the 19-year-old Jalna girl's alleged gangrape case, investigation has been handed over to the city police's crime branch and an FIR has been registered against a Chunabhatti inspector for yelling at the teenager's brother. Inspector Deepak Surve, who is attached to Kurla Nehru Nagar police station, holds additional charge of Chunabhatti police station.
